Allison Vaughn grew up in Lancaster, S.C. Allison graduated from The University of South Carolina Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication. She attended The Charleston School of Law where she graduated Cum Laude and received her Juris Doctor degree. While in law school, Allison served as the Student Works Editor of The Federal Courts Law Review and also received a number of CALI awards.
Following law school, Allison practiced in a number of areas ranging from criminal defense, family law, and general civil litigation. During this time, Allison gained valuable legal experience and spent a significant amount of time in the courtroom. She handled a number of district court trials, motions hearings, and settlement negotiations both for district and superior court cases. Currently, Allison focuses her practice on complex business litigation matters.
Allison is an avid Carolina Panthers and South Carolina Gamecock fan. On the weekend, Allison enjoys exploring all that Charlotte has to offer and spending time with her golden retriever, Ryne.
Allison decided to be a lawyer when she was in middle school. Even at her young age at the time, she knew there was something profoundly important about helping people and she was intrigued by the legal process.
