Rob Wilder

Rob Wilder is the attorney clients choose when a situation requires the utmost level of experience, finesse and resourcefulness. A litigator and counselor for over 35 years, Rob is known for his tenacious work ethic and talent for producing useful research, combined with his ability to develop effective strategies for success.

Rob graduated from Wake Forest University in 1970 and earned his law degree from Duke University School of Law in 1973. He has been admitted to the North Carolina state bar since 1973.

Having litigated more than 200 jury trials, Rob is a personable and persuasive individual, highly skilled in the art of presenting large amounts of complex information in a manner that is concise and approachable. His areas of concentration include helping clients face litigation pertaining to product liability, catastrophic injuries and healthcare. He has also represented clients with antitrust suits and served as an advisor for corporate clients performing internal investigations.

Comfortable serving as a lead counsel and within teams of attorneys from a variety of concentrations, Rob has built an impressive reputation based on integrity, success and professionalism. Formerly an Assistant U.S. Attorney and a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy JAG Corps, he believes his success has been due to his fierce protection of his clients’ best interests and complex understanding of administrative matters, along with the effort he applies to conduct discovery and prepare cases for trial.

With a comprehensive knowledge of numerous industries, from banking, healthcare and pharmaceuticals to heavy industrials and building materials, Rob is considered the ‘go-to’ guy when businesses are on the line and livelihoods are at stake. His experience and proven track record are backed by a solid educational background, and the many honors that he has earned attest to the value of his conscientious and thorough approach.

Outside of helping his clients achieve their goals, Rob enjoys pursuing an active lifestyle and spending time with his family, which includes his wife, 2 grown children and grandchildren. Tutoring third graders in the Little Lawyers Literacy Program, reading and cooking are some of his other favorite pastimes.
